Gardevoir outspeeds Scizor, so she gets the first hit in. She hurls a Fighting-type Focus Blast his way, and with her special attack jacked up to hell, it leaves a mark. Scizor's lucky to still be standing.
As commanded, he retaliates with U-turn, taking the last sliver out of Gardy's stamina. She's out like a light, and Scizor retreats back into his ball.
You let her pick her replacement first. She chooses the Dragon/Flying Dragonite.
There are two good options to counter with. On the one hand, you've still got your own Dragon, albeit in a bit of a rough state. On the other, you have Lopunny, whose Ice Punch hits Dragonite for both types' weaknesses; you just need to outspeed him and watch out for Flying attacks.
