Switch!

You're not ready to wreck TOO much shit yet. You go low-key and just swap Scizor for your oldest companion, the Water/Dark Greninja.

Which is just perfect, because the standing order for Chandelure was a Fire-type move, Inferno. She wildly throws flames around, intense enough to guarantee a burn that will sap Greninja's strength and stamina.

Or it would, if the Inferno connected at all. The wild flame-flinging doesn't touch Greninja at all. He just casually adjusts his tongue-scarf.

The turn's up. Your partner looks over to you, awaiting your instructions, and there are several you can give. You can play the type game and have him use Water Shuriken, which will hit multiple times, or Rock Slide, which will trigger his Protean ability and change his type to match the move's. As a non-offensive option, you can have him leave some Spikes down to damage anyone who switches in on your rival's side, and to also trigger Protean and change him to a Ground-type. Because strategy.
