Attack!

Lunala rises higher into the air, the third eye on her forehead opening as she radiates with the power of the moon itself. With a resounding cry, she throws a powerful beam out from her body, on a direct course for the thoroughly fucked Chandelure.

By the time the beam dissipates, Chandelure is on the ground, completely unconscious.  Your rival lets out a growl of frustration as she returns her to her ball...

...but you don't like the look of the next ball she grabs. A Beast Ball, built specifically to catch the things you caught Lunala to fight off in the first place: the violent extradimensional Pokémon known as Ultra Beasts.

She tosses the ball, and out comes the one codenamed UB-02 Beauty: the Bug/Fighting Pheromosa. You remember her hitting way too hard, being way too fast, and only getting FASTER with every 'Mon she KO'd.

The creature shoots a dismissive glance towards Lunala, who in turn immediately lets out a scornful screech and starts charging up another Moongeist Beam. You give her a pat to reassure her that it's all under control; if your rival caught a Pheromosa, the beast has clearly been tamed.

Everything's fine. She has a massive DICK of a Pokémon out, but Lunala can counter this. Pheromosa hits hard and fast, but she can't nullify Lunala's Shadow Shield. Plus, you've got type advantages you can exploit: Fighting is weak to Psychic and can't even TOUCH Ghost. Combined with Pheromosa's paper-thin defenses, this'll be over quick.
