Ugh. Fine, I'll humor you.
Pokémon matches are straightforward. Each trainer sends out one Pokémon at a time, and combat is turn-based with the faster Pokémon moving first. Pokémon attack each other until one of them faints, and the battle ends when one trainer is out of usable Pokémon. Trainers can use up to six Pokémon in their party.
Pokémon all have up to four moves they can use to attack oppenents, buff themselves, etc., and one passive ability that gives them an edge without exhausting energy. They also fall under one or two out of eighteen types, with a rock-paper-scissors checks-and-balances system between them that promotes strategy in battle and diverse move sets for Pokémon.
There are two one-use mechanics in fights: Z-Moves and Mega Evolution. The former powers up one move for a devastating blow, and the latter powers up the Pokémon itself for the rest of the fight. Both involve held items known respectively as Z-Crystals and Mega Stones. Pokémon can hold and use one item at a time for battle.
